Okay, Technologically Retarrrrrded... thats me alright, actually not me, just the technology that i claim in my possession no-matter how much my dad uses the computer for eeeBayyyyy... Thats were all the moneys going, Bicycle Parts...
Technology, well the more we create, the more we become LAZY! hoorah... but that's a bad thing... right? well lets "assume" it is, okay (as you can see I'm too lazy to punctuate everything and dot all my i's and t's). Lets start with the main ting, My Computer... it would have said that if I still had Windows, but I don't... it deleted itself? Yeah technology these days, computers are getting too smart for their own good, or their just getting a bit too adventurous. That is the main conundrum, but easily fixed with my not that friendly, not in the same "neighbourhood", (or suburb as we say in the OUTBACK! Giggidy.) and defiantly not spiderman!.. Computer nerd, or KuNG-Fu-LeMoN as he's known-round these parts. As one small problem sparks, the dominoes soon follow, as "simply" *cough* putting another OS on my computer "fixed" the problem of not actually being able to use the it, started lots of smaller difficulties. The Renown 'Linux Mint', at first it looked REALLY cool, but as I got to know this little lady, the more i missed Windows and found that I can't run with the old times anymore. Say many programs i previously had on Windows are now non-functionable with Linux, and when I say many, I mean practically everything, almost. Now don't get me wrong, Linux is a good, relatively easy to use operating system but suddenly switching to the dark side from the Windowsill, i am not used to the program and am annoyed how you either cannot download/install programs because they don't make them for Linux, or having to scour the 'Interweb' for slightly different alternatives.
Well that's all for tonight children, and I'm Ron Burgundy. Stay Classy... San Diego.
Heheh... yeah... "Bicycle parts" ... ehem.
ReplyDeleteAnd get WINE, you can run most windows programs with it.
And congrats on finally spitting the dummy and getting a blog. Or the seed. ...What ever you kids are calling it these days.
